Spring Break Packing List
Are you getting ready to take the fam on a Spring Break trip to sunny skies and warmer weather? I hope so!! And, I hope that you have been finding all of those things from last summer that you tucked away in the bins...you know, BOTH the left and right matching sandals and the swimsuits with the coordinating rash guards and shorts in the correct sizes...There is so much prep work that goes into getting a family ready to get outta town. Don't get me wrong, it's worth every second.
Here is my simple packing list of everything you need to add to your teeny corner of the shared suitcase so that YOU look as adorable as those kiddos while you are having fun in the sun.
Remember, you really don't need to bring as much as you think you do! That goes for the kiddos and your hubby too. You're spending your days at the pool or beach with the kids, so you really don't need day outfits. Focus on items that you could wear for more that one purpose. Don't overpack! And, this is TOTALLY the pot calling the kettle black, but you probably don't need to shop for too much for yourself for a family trip! It's so much nicer to pack less and to actually wear everything in your suitcase than to come home with items with the tags still on. (Speaking from experience here, obvi.) Save your $$ for a Miami Vice (If you don't know what that is, you need to email me!)
MVB Style Spring Break Packing List for a Beach Vacay:
2-3 Swimsuits (at least one mom suit that covers all of the important things, one fun suit for sunbathing)

2-3 pairs of shorts (denim, black, white, casual or dressy depending on your destination)
1-2 skirts (maxi or mini, depending on your style)
1 romper or dress (It's always nice to have one great dress with you just in case!)
1 pair of pants (wear on the plane/in the car)
4 casual tanks
2-3 dressy tops
2 tee shirts (you probably won't wear them except on the way to/from!)
1 flip flops (for pool time)

gym shoes (in case you actually get to work out--don't forget to throw a few pairs of socks inside)
