You'll be the mama getting all of the compliments at school pickup and the soccer sidelines.
When I was a girl, I wanted to be a beauty editor for Allure Magazine. I couldn't imagine anything that would be more fun and exciting than living in NYC reporting on beauty products. LOL! I mean, if my daughter told me that I'd cringe. But, hey #youdoyou. I've always been enamored with the idea that we are one beauty product away from perfect skin, hair or teeth. It's pretty shallow now that I think about it. And, maybe a little messed up.
But, let's forget the deep psychoanalysis of the dream! And...let's talk about how I'm making it a reality over here on my little blog. A friend of mine recently introduced me to THIS YouTube video by Ali Andrea. Look at her face! She shows us how most women do their makeup vs how we should do our makeup to look our best. Oh, wow.
Next weekend, I'm heading to sunny LA for a women's conference called RISE with author, Rachel Hollis. I stumbled upon Rach through Evereve's Instagram Stories, of all places! (Seriously, it was one of the very first iG Stories I had ever watched.) I loved her style and I fell into the rabbit hole of her digi-world--she is a social media Queen. When I discovered she had a tell-it-like-it-is podcast, I knew I'd be a fan! Her book, Girl Wash Your Face, launched recently and I've loved watching her promote it and talk about the dramatic stories inside.
I've done all of the painful research for you! These #momshorts are the idea length for running around after your kiddos this summer (or on Spring Break!) And, before you write this off saying "I DON'T WEAR SHORTS," please read my love letter to you below. XO
